Day 1
Our 1st year anniversary was on a Monday and bb got school and I had to work, so we had to celebrate in advance.
Bought the groupon which includes 2d1n stay in KSL with free breakfast and Legoland for 2. BB stayed over at my house the night before and off we head to take bus from Phoenix station to JB in the morning.
Reached KSL hotel at around 1+ish and went to check-in. The standard room was okay for both of us. After resting for awhile, we headed to a place to have some Kampong chicken which bb found online.So we took a cab there and the cab driver had some problem searching for the place cause it was so remote. It was actually situated in their own house. We had to actually let the driver to call the owner to finally find the place.
This whole chicken actually cost less than SGD 50 it i didnt remembered wrongly. It actually tasted like herbal chicken with much flavours of herbs in it. The meat was juicy and tender i must say but i wont be back to have this chicken again.
After which, we took a cab back to KSL mall and shop. I bought my contact lenses from there which is extremely cheap. It cost about SGD 10 per pair only. Thereafter, we went to sing K and it was the 1st time bb and i went K together.
The small rooms were actually fully booked and they only left with big rooms. So we sang in the big room for an hour and it was still cheap. For 2 person in a big room the price is actually $20+ for an experience.
Soon after, it was time for dinner. I recommend a seafood place which i found online but it was better to dine in there where we had our own car. Taxi drivers wont know that place and the taxi fare to there was actually not cheap too.
But what i can say is that the seafood there is really DAYUM!
We ordered 2 crabs, Salted egg & Marmite sauce and stir fried kang kong. The bill came to only around SGD50+ with these 3 dishes, 2 rice and drinks.

I can totally have the whole of salted egg crab to myself. The marmite sauce crab was sweet and tasted not bad too but it can be quite greasy after awhile. Looking at the picture of the salted egg crab makes me salivate.
The seafood place was also a remote area with no cabs around so the staff there was actually kind enough to send us to an area where we can take a cab back to our hotel.

So we basically ended our day with a sumptuous seafood dinner with tidbits bought from KSL :)
