Victor's Kitchen

Victor's Kitchen

Finally been to Victor's Kitchen with the boy today despite the heavy rain. Have wanted to try this yesterday but was raining heavily as well but nothing can stop us from having Dim Sum for today.

Located at Sunshine Plaza about 5mins walk from Hotel Rendezvous. Went there around 4ish so its quite empty.

Tried their "Bo Lo Bao" which is not in the menu. Love the crust on the bun and the "Char Siew" inside was sweet and juicy.

Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Loving buns like this.

Queen Size Siew Mai. It looks just like the normal size of a Siew Mai but it was meaty.

Featuring the King Size Har Gao (Prawn Dumplings). The skin was thin and smooth stuffed with LOADS of prawn. Not the usual kind of Har Gao in Dim Sum restaurants. Definitely worth eating.

Crispy Beancurd Skin with Prawn. Best eaten when served as the skin is still crispy with juicy prawn meat inside.

Century Egg Porridge, can't see the eggs tho. Just another porridge but good to have for cold weather.

Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce. Didn't tried the pork ribs but the boy said it was chewy and much more meaty than the other places. Taste wise was normal.

The most familiar to all Dim Sum lovers "Golden Lava Egg Yolk Bun". Loving the OOZING custard. Soft bun with fragrant custard. Best eaten when its still hot. Victor's Kitchen was said to have the best Liu Sha Bao.

Not forgetting my HK Summer Milk Tea. It is chilled over a bowl of ice which was GREAT cause my drink won't be diluted and still keeping the original taste.

The menu in Victor's Kitchen was limited but enough to fill both of our stomach's up. Our total order of 7 items and 2 drinks cost around $39. IMO, worth trying and will come back for their Har Gao and Milk Tea.
